This revolutionary PU expanding foam has been designed and tested to seal those important gaps between walls and fire door frames, achieving up to 60 minutes of fire protection.
It’s easy to apply, taking around 3 minutes on every door you install and replaces the need for mineral fibre wool and mastic.  It’s also the most certified fire door foam on the market which has been specifically tested with fire doors.

  • Extensively fire tested to 30-120 minutes with fire doorsets in accordance with BS 476: Pt 20 & 22: 1987 and BS EN 1634-1: 2014. 
  • Smoke and leakage tested in accordance with BS EN 1634-3: 2004.

  • Our product warranty covers a period of 10 years. (We expect the product to maintain its functionality as a fire-stopping system after 10 years and recommend that the product is inspected annually as part of a fire doors routine inspection).

  • Cavity gap filling and perimeter pointing between walls and timber frames of fire doors and screens.
  • Timber frames, softwood (FD30), hardwood and MDF.
  • Use FAS Intumescent Acrylic Sealant mastic capping for FD90-120 fire doorsets.

Installation 

  • Gap must be 25mm wide or less depending on performance criteria.
  • Ensure surfaces are firm, clean, and free from any dust or loose particles.
  • Spray the cavity with water to aid adhesion to the substrate.  
  • Shake the can for two minutes until the foam inside becomes liquid.
  • Attach the adapter or gun to the canister. 
  • Fill the gap from the base slowly building up layers of foam to completely fill the void.
  • Allow the foam to cure and cut away any excess foam after one hour.
