Intumescent Fire Sealant - Foil Sausage (White) - 600ml

This one part intumescent acrylic sealant swells when exposed to heat to prevent the passage of fire & smoke. Fire rated to BS476/EN1366 meaning the product offers up to 4 hours fire rating depending on joint configuration.

Accommodates movement up to 20%. Acoustic rated to BS EN ISO 140-3.

Applications:

• Sealing & filling gaps in fire rated partition walls.
• Sealing around door frames.
• Sealing gaps around service penetrations.
• Sealing low movement construction joints.

Installation:

• Install backer foam to required depth of sealant.
• Sealant depth depends on fire rating to be achieved. Depth should be at least half the joint width with a minimum of 6mm.
