Intumescent Pipe Collar - 32mm

Pipe collars are designed to maintain the fire resistance of fire rated walls and floors where they have been breached by continuous plastic pipes or cables. When subjected to the heat of a fire, they expand and create a seal closing off the gap containing the softening/combusting pipe.Pipe collars can be installed on flexible or rigid wall and rigid floor constructions. They can also be used within fire resistant batt.

These pipe collars include an intumescent component incorporated into a mild steel case. They require no assembly and can simply be wrapped around the pipe at the soffit or both faces of walls, depending on application.
